Ramen Noodle Salad Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 tbsp vegetable oil
02 - 2 packages ramen noodles (3oz each), crushed
03 - 1 ½ cups sliced almonds
04 - 2 lb tri-color coleslaw
05 - 8 oz fresh snow peas, sliced
06 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced
07 - 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
08 - 1 can mandarin oranges (15oz), drained
09 - 1 can water chestnuts (8oz), diced and drained
10 - 4 green onions, sliced (green parts only)
11 - ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
12 - Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

→ Dressing

13 - ½ cup vegetable oil
14 - 6 tbsp granulated sugar
15 - 6 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
16 - ½ tbsp toasted sesame oil
17 - 1 tsp salt
18 - ¼ tsp black pepper
19 - ¼ tsp garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the crushed noodles and sliced almonds. Cook, stirring frequently, until lightly golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a plate and set aside.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, granulated sugar, lemon juice, sesame oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until combined.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the coleslaw, snow peas, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, mandarin oranges, water chestnuts, green onions, cilantro, and the toasted noodle and almond mixture.
04 - Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
