Mexican Shredded Chicken (Print Version)

01 - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 cup salsa
04 - 1 cup chicken broth
05 - 2 tablespoons taco seasoning or 1/2 packet
06 - 1 lime, juiced

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and season with the taco seasoning.
02 - Cook the chicken breasts for approximately 3-5 minutes on each side to brown evenly.
03 - Reduce the heat to low, mix the chicken broth and salsa, add it to the pan, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
04 - Shred the cooked chicken using 2 forks, top with the freshly squeezed lime juice, and thoroughly combine.
05 - Serve the shredded chicken over rice, salad, or in tortillas.
