Crispy Air Fryer Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main ingredients

01 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
02 - Freshly ground black pepper, add as much as you want
03 - 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
04 - 500g Brussels sprouts, fresh, trimmed and bigger ones halved

# Instructions:

01 - Chop off tough ends from the sprouts and peel away any sad outer bits. Slice bigger sprouts straight down the middle so they cook evenly.
02 - Pour olive oil over your sprouts in a big bowl and roll them around until every piece is shiny. Season with black pepper and sea salt, then give everything one more toss. Lay them in your air fryer basket – try to keep them in one layer if you can.
03 - Turn your air fryer to 340°F (170°C) and let the sprouts cook for 12 to 15 minutes. Every 4 or 5 minutes, take out the basket for a quick shake so they get brown and don’t stick. Once they’re crunchy outside and soft inside, you’re all set.

# Notes:

01 - Want extra soft sprouts? Give them a 3-5 minute hot swim in boiling water before air frying. To make things fancy, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and drizzle some balsamic glaze on top right before you eat.
