Happy Day Sugar Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - ¼ cup dairy-free milk
02 - ½ cup sugar
03 - ½ teaspoon vanilla stuff
04 - ½ teaspoon baking powder
05 - 1 cup regular flour
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt
07 - ¼ cup soft vegan butter

→ Royal Icing

08 - Food dye if you want
09 - ¼ teaspoon vanilla flavor
10 - 1-2 tablespoons plant milk
11 - ½ cup powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Stir icing stuff together, throw in food color if you like. Dress up your cookies and chill out 'til the icing dries.
02 - Pop those cookies into the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges look a little golden. Let them sit on the tray for 5 minutes then move them to cool on a rack.
03 - Flatten your dough on a floured counter to about a quarter-inch thick. Use your cutters to punch out shapes.
04 - Dump the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Blend in the soft butter, plant milk, and vanilla. Stir it all up until it's doughy.
05 - Take your butter out so it gets soft. Set your oven to 350°F (about 175°C). Lay down parchment on a baking sheet.
