Decadent Triple Chocolate Poke Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chocolate Cake

01 - Devil's Food Cake Mix - 1 box
02 - Water - 1 cup (or amount per box directions)
03 - Large eggs - 3 (or amount per box directions)
04 - Vegetable oil - ½ cup (or amount per box directions)

→ Chocolate Filling

05 - Hot fudge sauce - 10 oz jar
06 - Dark chocolate instant pudding mix - 5.9 oz box
07 - Milk - 2¾ cups

→ Whipped Topping

08 - Heavy whipping cream - 2 cups
09 - Instant hot chocolate mix - 2 envelopes
10 - Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
11 - Mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate - ½ cup
12 - Hot fudge sauce for drizzling (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Mix cake ingredients according to box directions. Pour into greased 9x13 pan and bake as directed. Cool 20 minutes, then poke holes about 1 inch apart using wooden spoon handle.
02 - Heat hot fudge sauce until pourable (about 30-60 seconds in microwave). Pour over cake, letting it fill the holes. Cool completely.
03 - Mix dark chocolate pudding with cold milk. Pour over cooled cake before pudding sets. Refrigerate 15 minutes to set.
04 - Beat cream, hot chocolate mix, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over chilled cake and garnish with chocolate chips.
