Easy Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - Breakfast sausage, casings removed - 1½ pounds
02 - Large eggs - 8
03 - Half and half - ¾ cup
04 - Frozen tater tots - 1 pound

→ Seasonings

05 - Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
06 - Salt - ½ teaspoon
07 - Pepper - ½ teaspoon

→ Toppings

08 - Cheddar cheese, shredded - 3 cups (divided)
09 - Bacon, cooked and chopped - ⅓ cup
10 - Green onions, sliced - 1 tablespoon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 casserole dish.
02 - Brown sausage, breaking into pieces, until cooked through. Drain and spread in dish.
03 - Whisk eggs, half and half, and seasonings. Pour over sausage.
04 - Top with 2 cups cheese, then arrange tater tots on top. Don't submerge tots.
05 - Bake 45 minutes. Add remaining cheese and bacon, bake 5 more minutes. Top with green onions and rest 5 minutes.
