Strawberry Brownies Chocolate (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Brownies

01 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
03 - 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 4 large eggs
07 - 2 cups sugar (regular, white)
08 - 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

→ Topping

09 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
10 - 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
11 - 1 pint strawberries, hulled and cut in half

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving extra on the edges to help lift the brownies out later.
02 - Melt the butter in a large bowl using a microwave. Stir in the sugar until blended. Whisk the eggs and vanilla in until smooth. In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Slowly fold the dry mix into the wet one until just combined.
03 - Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs. Let the brownies cool in the pan.
04 - When the brownies are cool, place the strawberry halves evenly across the top.
05 - Add the chocolate chips and cream to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat them in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
06 - Drizzle the ganache over the strawberries and spread it gently to cover everything.
07 - Stick the brownies in the fridge for at least an hour so the ganache sets. Lift them out of the pan using the parchment paper edges and cut into individual squares.

# Notes:

01 - Chilling the brownies helps the ganache harden, making it easier to cut clean pieces.
