Easy Slow Cooker Onion Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Large potatoes, thinly sliced - 6
02 - Lipton Onion Soup mix - 1 packet
03 - Butter, melted - ⅓ cup
04 - Shredded cheddar cheese - 1 cup (optional)
05 - Chicken broth or water - ½ cup
06 - Salt and pepper to taste
07 - Cooking spray or butter for greasing

# Instructions:

01 - Grease the inside of slow cooker with cooking spray or butter.
02 - Peel (optional) and slice potatoes thinly, keeping slices even for consistent cooking.
03 - Toss potato slices with melted butter and onion soup mix until evenly coated. Mix in cheese if using.
04 - Layer seasoned potatoes in slow cooker, pour broth over top. Cook on low 5-6 hours or high 2-3 hours until tender.
05 - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
