Garlic Sauce Flavor (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cloves of fresh garlic, chopped super fine
02 - 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
03 - 2 teaspoons of a mix of Italian herbs
04 - 4 tablespoons plain flour
05 - 3/4 cup of thick heavy cream
06 - 2 cups of vegetable stock
07 - 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped up fresh
08 - About 8 ounces of Parmesan, shredded right before using
09 - A few dashes of black pepper, freshly ground
10 - Kosher salt, add to your taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a wide pan, warm up the butter over medium-low heat until it melts.
02 - Toss in the garlic, sprinkle in Italian herbs, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Stir it all around and cook for a minute.
03 - Dust the flour over the mixture and whisk it together until it combines nicely. Let it cook for about a minute.
04 - Pour the veggie broth in slowly while whisking nonstop so there aren’t any clumps.
05 - Gently simmer this mixture for a couple of minutes until you notice it thickening up.
06 - Stir in the heavy cream, followed by the shredded Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, until everything’s smooth.
07 - Keep it over low heat and stir often until you like how thick it looks.
08 - Give it a sample and tweak the salt and pepper to your liking.

01 - Using the freshest ingredients really brings this together.
02 - Have all your stuff prepped before you start, and go slow with seasoning.
03 - Keep stirring as you cook—it’s the real trick to getting the best results.
