Texas Roadhouse Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Salmon

01 - Juice from 1 fresh lemon
02 - A pinch of black pepper, as needed
03 - Salt, added to taste
04 - Lemon slices, great for serving
05 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1 teaspoon ground paprika
08 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
10 - 2 fillets of salmon, about 6 ounces each
11 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne, adjust if you like it less spicy
12 - Fresh parsley, roughly chopped, perfect for garnishing

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (or 200°C) so it's ready for baking.
02 - Stir together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. This makes the seasoning blend.
03 - Use a paper towel to pat the salmon fillets dry. Lay them out on a parchment-lined baking tray to make cleanup easy.
04 - Spread the prepared seasoning all over the salmon fillets. Use your hands or a brush to cover them evenly.
05 - Pour the juice from one lemon straight over the salmon for a burst of fresh flavor.
06 - Bake the salmon in your hot oven for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until it flakes easily when poked with a fork.
07 - Once out of the oven, let the salmon rest to stay juicy. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve it with lemon slices for an extra twist of citrus.

# Notes:

01 - Resting the salmon after cooking keeps it moist and boosts its flavor.
