Pepperoni Pizza Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon butter
02 - 2 slices bread
03 - 2 slices mozzarella or 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
04 - 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara sauce
05 - 1/2 ounce pepperoni

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a pan over medium heat.
02 - Butter one side of each slice of bread.
03 - Place one slice of bread in the pan, buttered side down.
04 - Top with half of the mozzarella, 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce, the pepperoni, the remaining sauce, and the remaining cheese.
05 - Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
06 - Grill until golden brown and crispy on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 2-4 minutes per side.

# Notes:

01 - Use shredded or sliced mozzarella depending on preference. Swap pepperoni for turkey pepperoni or a vegetarian alternative if desired. Add Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes for extra flavor. Serve with extra marinara for dipping.
