Give the asparagus a good rinse under cool water and dry them off with a clean towel. Bend the stalks gently to remove the tough, woody parts—this will naturally snap where needed.

In a mixing bowl, stir together the olive oil, paprika, Parmesan cheese, a sprinkle of salt, and some black pepper until it forms a thick coating mixture.

Toss the asparagus with the Parmesan mixture so they're evenly covered. Lay them flat in the basket of your air fryer, and pour any leftover sauce over the top.

Cook the asparagus in the air fryer at 360°F (180°C) for around 12 minutes. Keep an eye on it—the stalks should be tender yet firm, and the cheese should turn crispy and golden.
