Copycat Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - Fettuccine - 16 ounces

→ Sauce

02 - Salted butter - 6 tablespoons
03 - Garlic, minced - 1 tablespoon
04 - Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
05 - Salt - ½ teaspoon
06 - All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
07 - Heavy whipping cream - 1¼ cups
08 - Whole milk - 1½ cups
09 - Parmesan cheese, shredded - 1 cup

→ Garnish

10 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, garlic powder, and salt, whisk to combine.
03 - Whisk flour into butter mixture. Slowly add cream and milk while whisking. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 2-3 minutes.
04 - Add parmesan cheese and whisk until combined.
05 - Add drained pasta to sauce, toss with tongs to coat. Garnish with parsley and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Heat butter and cream until bubbling for better cheese melting
02 - Use room temperature cheese for creamier sauce
03 - Sauce will thicken while standing
