Hot Creamy Crab (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella or white cheddar cheese, split in two
02 - 12 ounces drained canned crab (two 6-ounce cans)
03 - 6 finely chopped green onions
04 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon of salt
06 - 12 ounces softened cream cheese (1 ½ blocks)
07 - 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise (¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon)
08 - Chopped green onions for sprinkling on top
09 - Optional: Crackers, chips, celery stalks, or toasted bread slices for dipping

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to heat up to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a mixing bowl, stir together the cream cheese, crab, green onions, mayo, garlic powder, salt, and half of the shredded cheese until smooth.
03 - Scoop the mixture into a small 6-inch cast-iron pan or 1-quart dish. Sprinkle the second half of shredded cheese on top.
04 - Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
05 - Switch to broil setting and heat until the cheese is lightly browned.
06 - Take the dish out of the oven. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before devouring—it’ll be super hot!
