Sweet-spicy party favorite (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meatballs

01 - 32 oz frozen fully cooked meatballs

→ Sweet & Spicy Sauce

02 - 1 cup grape jelly (Smuckers recommended)
03 - 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's recommended)
04 - 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce

→ Optional Garnish

05 - Chopped fresh parsley or chives

# Instructions:

01 - Add the frozen meatballs, grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and chili garlic sauce directly into your slow cooker. Stir everything together until the meatballs are evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
02 - Cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook on the low setting for 3-4 hours. If you're using larger meatballs, they may need 4-5 hours on low to become perfectly tender. Give everything a gentle stir about halfway through cooking time.
03 - Once the meatballs are heated through and the sauce has thickened, switch your slow cooker to the warm setting until you're ready to serve. Before serving, give everything a final stir and transfer to a serving dish or keep in the slow cooker for guests to help themselves. Sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives if desired.

# Notes:

01 - The chili garlic sauce adds a nice spicy kick that balances the sweetness. If you prefer sweeter meatballs without heat, feel free to omit it.
02 - This recipe can easily be doubled for larger crowds - just make sure your slow cooker is large enough.
03 - For a party, you can keep these on the warm setting for up to 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
04 - You can use homemade meatballs instead of frozen, just make sure they're fully cooked before adding to the slow cooker.
