# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
06 - ½ cup all-purpose flour
07 - ¼ teaspoon salt

08 - 10–12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
09 - ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
10 - Extra Oreo pieces for topping (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until combined.
03 - Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 - Sift in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
05 - Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies and chocolate chips, if using.
06 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Press a few extra Oreo pieces on top for decoration.
07 - Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
08 - Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
