Fresh Homemade Salsa (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb Roma tomatoes, halved or quartered
02 - 12 oz canned petite diced tomatoes, with juice
03 - 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
04 - 1 jalapeno pepper, roughly chopped, seeded
05 - 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
06 - 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped

→ Seasonings

07 - 1 Tbsp lime juice, from 1/2 fresh lime
08 - 1/2 tsp chili powder
09 - 1 tsp ground cumin
10 - 2 tsp salt, adjusted to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Place all of the ingredients into a food processor or high-speed blender. Pulse in 2-second bursts until all ingredients are chopped and combined. Ensure not to over-blend; aim for a fine texture rather than a puree.
02 - Leave the salsa covered and refrigerated for a couple of hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
