Quick and Easy Cheeseburger Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - Lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7 fat content) - 2 pounds
02 - Olive oil - ½ tablespoon
03 - Salt - 1 teaspoon
04 - Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
05 - Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
06 - Yellow onion, finely diced - ½ large
07 - Mayonnaise - ¼ cup

→ Cheese & Bread

08 - Medium cheddar cheese slices - 8 slices
09 - Medium cheddar cheese, shredded - 6 ounces
10 - Dinner rolls - 24 (or 2 packs of 12)

→ Topping

11 - Unsalted butter, melted - 2 tablespoons (plus more for greasing)
12 - Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and butter the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until just done, then remove from heat.
03 - Drain excess fat from the skillet. Stir mayonnaise into the ground beef mixture until well combined.
04 - Split rolls and place bottom halves on the buttered baking sheet. Layer with sliced cheese, seasoned beef mixture, and shredded cheese. Top with remaining bun halves.
05 - Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden brown.
