Crock Pot Chicken Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - 1 teaspoon pepper
04 - 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
05 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
06 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
07 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 1 package Hawaiian rolls (12 count)
09 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 3 tablespoons melted butter
11 - 1 teaspoon garlic salt

# Instructions:

01 - Place the chicken, salt, pepper, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and garlic in a crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Shred the chicken and stir back into the crock pot.
02 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
03 - Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom half in a 9X13 pan.
04 - Spoon the shredded chicken onto the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls in the pan. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese (reserve 1 tablespoon of Parmesan for later). Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls on top.
05 - Brush the Hawaiian rolls with melted butter and sprinkle the reserved Parmesan cheese and garlic salt on top. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 2-5 minutes to brown the top.
06 - Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!

01 - You can substitute marinara sauce with spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, or crushed tomatoes.
