Easy Crispy Roasted Broccoli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Broccoli - 1½ pounds (1 head), cut into medium florets
02 - Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
03 - Garlic cloves, minced - 3 (or ½ teaspoon garlic powder)
04 - Fine sea salt - ½ teaspoon, or to taste
05 - Black pepper - ¼ teaspoon, or to taste
06 - Freshly grated parmesan cheese - 2 tablespoons (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - On the prepared baking sheet, toss broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
03 - Spread broccoli in a single layer and roast until edges are golden brown and stems are crisp-tender, about 14-18 minutes.
04 - Sprinkle with fresh parmesan cheese if desired and serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - Pat broccoli dry thoroughly after washing to help it crisp better in the oven
02 - Broccoli stems can be roasted too - just peel the tough outer layer first
