Crispy Oven Baked Sweet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 regular-sized sweet potatoes, cut into fry shapes (peeling is up to you)
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Seasonings

03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 teaspoon paprika (smoky is fine if you like)
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Optional

07 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch if you want them extra crunchy

# Instructions:

01 - Slide your baking sheet into the oven and set temp to 425°F (220°C). Let it get hot while you get everything else ready.
02 - Chop sweet potatoes into stick shapes about ¼-inch thick. Dunk them in cold water for half an hour so some of the starch washes out.
03 - Dry off your fries with paper towels. Toss them in a bowl with oil, seasonings, and cornstarch if you want. Make sure everything gets coated.
04 - Lay fries out in one layer on that preheated baking sheet. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Flip them over in the middle so both sides turn crispy and golden.
