Use a shallow dish to combine milk and eggs by whisking well, then leave it aside.

Grab 4 toast slices and coat with mayonnaise. On the other 4, spread mustard. Stack 3 slices of ham, 1 slice of cheese, and 3 slices of turkey on the mayo bread. Close each up with the mustard-side toast.

Turn on medium heat and swirl 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan or skillet until melted.

Carefully dip each sandwich into the egg mixture so both sides are covered. Lay it in the heated pan, cooking until one side turns golden, then flip to brown the other. Repeat this and add more butter between batches as necessary.

Serve these while they’re hot. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top, and add a side of jam or syrup if you’d like to sweeten things up.
