Crispy Middle Eastern Stuffed Pitas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Filling

01 - Ground beef - 1 pound
02 - Feta cheese, crumbled - ⅓ cup
03 - Garlic cloves, minced - 3
04 - Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
05 - Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons

→ Seasonings

06 - Salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika - 1 teaspoon each
07 - Cumin and coriander - ½ teaspoon each
08 - Cayenne, cinnamon, dried mint - ¼ teaspoon each
09 - Ground cloves - ⅛ teaspoon
10 - Black pepper to taste

→ For Serving

11 - Pita breads (6-inch diameter) - 4
12 - Tzatziki for dipping (optional)
13 - Lemon wedges

# Instructions:

01 - Mix ground beef, feta, garlic, olive oil, spices and parsley. Form into 8 thin half-moon patties.
02 - Cut pitas in half and fill each with meat patties, spreading evenly.
03 - Heat skillet over medium heat with oil. Cook arayes 4-5 minutes per side, including open meat edge, until cooked through.

01 - Can use any ground meat
02 - Keep heat medium to medium-low while cooking
03 - Pairs well with Greek salad
