Classic Homemade Caesar Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Croutons

01 - French baguette - ½, thinly sliced ¼-inch thick
02 - Extra virgin olive oil - 3 tablespoons
03 - Garlic, minced - 1 teaspoon (2 small cloves)
04 - Parmesan cheese, grated - 2 tablespoons

→ Caesar Dressing

05 - Garlic cloves, minced - 2 small (1 teaspoon)
06 - Dijon mustard - 2 teaspoons
07 - Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
08 - Fresh lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
09 - Red wine vinegar - 1½ teaspoons
10 - Extra virgin olive oil - ⅓ cup
11 - Sea salt - ½ teaspoon
12 - Black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon

→ Salad

13 - Romaine lettuce - 1 large head (or 2 small)
14 - Parmesan cheese, shredded or shaved - ⅓ cup

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice baguette into ¼-inch pieces. Mix olive oil with minced garlic, drizzle over bread, and sprinkle with parmesan. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden and crisp.
02 - Whisk together garlic, dijon, Worcestershire, lemon juice and vinegar. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking. Season with salt and pepper.
03 - Chop romaine into bite-sized pieces and place in large bowl. Top with parmesan and cooled croutons. Drizzle with dressing and toss to coat evenly.
