Classic Baked Rice Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2/3 cup Minute Rice
02 - 2 3/4 cups milk
03 - 1/3 cup sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon butter
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
08 - Cinnamon, for sprinkling
09 - 1/2 cup raisins

# Instructions:

01 - Lightly butter a 1-quart baking dish. Add Minute Rice, milk, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla, nutmeg, and raisins. Stir until well combined.
02 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 1 hour. After 15 minutes, stir the mixture and continue baking.
03 - Remove the dish from the oven and stir again. While the pudding is still hot, sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
04 - Serve the pudding warm, or let it cool and chill in the fridge. It will thicken as it sits. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
