Clam chowder tomato style (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup chopped yellow onion
02 - 1 cup bacon, diced
03 - 2 cups chopped white potatoes, skin-on
04 - 2 cans (142g each) baby clams with juice
05 - 1 can (28oz) diced tomatoes, with liquid
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or ¼ teaspoon dried
07 - 1 cup water
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt
09 - ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - In a big pot, cook the bacon until it’s crispy, then toss in the onion and cook until soft on medium heat.
02 - Pour in the clams (with their liquid), potatoes, and water. Bring everything to a boil, then lower the heat. Cover it up and simmer for about 20 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
03 - Mix in the remaining ingredients. Turn the heat up until it starts boiling, stirring now and then. Serve it warm.
