01 -
Combine all marinade ingredients and whisk vigorously to blend, or mix them in a jar, close the lid, and shake well. Reserve ¼ cup of the marinade for later use.
02 -
In a bowl or large zip-close bag, combine the chicken and the marinade (excluding the reserved ¼ cup). Toss to coat thoroughly. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.
03 -
Preheat the grill to medium heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
04 -
Place the chicken on the preheated grill using tongs. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then turn and brush half of the reserved marinade onto the tops of the chicken.
05 -
Cook for another 5-7 minutes, flip the chicken, and brush the remaining marinade over the top. Continue cooking for 2-4 more minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
06 -
Serve the chicken immediately. Garnish with fresh herbs, and lemon, lime, or orange wedges for squeezing over the top. Enjoy!
