Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - ½ teaspoon salt
03 - 2 large eggs, at room temp
04 - ¼ cup melted unsalted butter
05 - ½ cup white sugar
06 - 2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 pouch)
07 - 1 cup milk, warmed

→ Strawberry Filling

08 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
09 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
10 - ¼ cup white sugar
11 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped fine

→ Strawberry Icing

12 - ½ teaspoon vanilla
13 - 1 tablespoon milk or cream
14 - ¼ cup fresh strawberry puree
15 - 1 cup powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together the powdered sugar, strawberry puree, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Pour it over the warm rolls.
02 - Pop the rolls in a 350°F oven and bake them about 25 minutes. They should look golden and smell awesome.
03 - Once your dough is ready, roll it flat into a rectangle, spread on the strawberry filling, roll all that up, and slice into 12 pieces. Give them a half hour to puff up.
04 - Toss the chopped strawberries with sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch until it’s nice and blended.
05 - Dump the flour, salt, eggs, butter, sugar, yeast, and warm milk in a bowl. Mix it all up and knead the dough until smooth. Leave it for an hour so it can rise.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh strawberries add a fun twist to these soft, classic cinnamon rolls, right in the middle and even on top!
