Delightful Churro Cruffins Twist (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
02 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

→ Coating

03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

→ Filling (Optional)

05 - Dulce de leche or chocolate spread

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease a muffin tin.
02 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to remove any creases. Brush the entire sheet with melted butter.
03 - Tightly roll the puff pastry sheet into a log. Cut the log into 1-inch slices.
04 - Gently twist each slice to form a spiral, then place it into a greased muffin tin cavity with the cut side facing up.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
06 - While the cruffins are baking, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Let the baked cruffins cool briefly, then brush each with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated.
07 - If desired, fill a piping bag with dulce de leche or chocolate spread. Insert the tip into the center of each cruffin and squeeze gently to fill.

01 - For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
