Put eggs in a pot, cover them with cool water, and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool the eggs in ice water to peel them easily later.

Carefully remove the shells from the eggs, then slice each egg lengthwise. Take out the yolks and set them aside in a bowl.

Mush the yolks with mayo and chili garlic paste till smooth. If you’d like it spicier, add a little more chili garlic paste.

Fill the hollowed egg whites by spooning or piping the yolk mix into them. To make them look fancy, try using a piping bag with a star tip.

Dust the eggs with smoked paprika, top them with crispy onions, and serve right away or chill them until you’re ready to eat.
