Creamy Chicken Broccoli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
02 - 4 cups broccoli florets, lightly steamed
03 - 2 cups cooked rice or pasta
04 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
05 - 1 cup sour cream
06 - 1/2 cup milk
07 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
10 - Optional: 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs
11 - Optional: 1 tablespoon melted butter for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in cooked chicken, broccoli, and rice (or pasta) along with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
03 - Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. If using, mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
04 - Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly with a golden top.
