Cheesy Cauliflower Steaks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Cauliflower Steaks

01 - 1 large head of cauliflower
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
04 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - ½ teaspoon salt
06 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

→ For the Cheese Topping

07 - ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
09 - ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

→ For Garnish

11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
12 - 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Remove the leaves and trim the stem of the cauliflower, keeping the core intact. Slice it into ¾-inch thick steaks (2-3 full steaks, with smaller florets from the edges).
03 - Place the cauliflower slices on the baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
04 - Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.
05 - Sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning over the cauliflower. Return to the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
06 - Sprinkle with fresh parsley and drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired. Serve hot as a side dish or vegetarian main course.
