Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up.

Follow the instructions on the brownie box, then spread the batter across a greased 9-inch springform pan.

Put the brownie mix into the oven and bake it for about half an hour. Take it out when it's finished.

In a bowl, toss in the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Use a mixer to blend everything until smooth. Pour this on top of your baked brownie base.

Lower your oven temperature to 325°F (160°C) and bake it for 50 minutes. The cheesecake should look set with a little jiggle in the middle.

Let everything cool completely before you take it out of the pan. Try adding chocolate sauce when you serve it, if you'd like.
