Turkey Cheddar Spinach Bacon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sandwich Fixings

01 - 4 slices of a hearty bread like sourdough or something with a thick crust
02 - 2 tablespoons soft butter, ready to spread
03 - 4 cooked bacon slices
04 - 0.5 cup fresh baby spinach leaves
05 - Thin cuts from a medium red tomato
06 - 4 slices of turkey from the deli
07 - 2 slices of white cheddar
08 - 2 tablespoons honey mustard

# Instructions:

01 - Pop those sandwiches onto your plates and dig in while they're still nice and hot, maybe with your favorite sides.
02 - Warm a big skillet on medium. Toss in your built sandwiches and let one side get golden for 3 to 4 minutes. Flip them and keep toasting the other side until the cheese melts and you get a good crunch.
03 - Rub about half a tablespoon of soft butter all over the outside of every slice so the sandwiches brown up all over.
04 - Lay two strips of bacon on top of the cheese layer left on two bread pieces. Now, fold the turkey-tomato-spinach ones with the bacon ones. Make sure the crunchy bacon faces inside. Press together lightly.
05 - Pile your sliced tomatoes and about a quarter cup of spinach on each of the turkey-topped pieces. Use as much tomato as you want.
06 - Slice the cheddar in half to make four chunks. Lay a chunk on each mustard-covered bread slice. Next, on two of those, stack two turkey slices each.
07 - Lay out the bread on a plate or board. Slather about half a tablespoon of honey mustard on one side of every slice.

# Notes:

01 - If you want gooey cheese and great flavor, grab a block or get slices from the deli. Skip the prepackaged stuff.
02 - Need it dairy-free? Try plant-based butter and swap in your go-to non-dairy cheese.
