Cheesy No-Boil Penne (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups uncooked penne
02 - 3 cups marinara or pasta sauce
03 - 3 cups water
04 - 1 cup heavy cream
05 - ½ tsp garlic powder
06 - ½ tsp dried minced onion
07 - 1 tsp Italian herbs
08 - ¼ tsp black pepper
09 - ½ tsp salt
10 - 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
11 - 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
12 - ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
13 - 1 cup ricotta cheese
14 - Fresh basil, chopped (optional garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 400°F so it heats up. Coat a 9x13-inch pan lightly with olive oil to stop sticking.
02 - In a big bowl, toss together the penne (uncooked), pasta sauce, water, cream, seasonings, salt, and pepper. Mix it all up well.
03 - Pour the pasta mixture straight into the greased dish. Seal it tight with foil and put it in the oven for 45 minutes. If the pasta texture isn’t right, bake for another 5–10 minutes.
04 - Take off the foil, gently mix in ricotta cheese, and spread mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the top.
05 - Put it back in the oven without foil for 10–15 minutes so the cheese melts. Let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with basil if you like, and enjoy warm.
