Turn your oven on to 350°F and spray a pan with cooking oil, or use foil as an alternative to keep cleaning easy.

Dry the sausages briefly with a paper towel, then wrap each one with a piece of bacon. Use toothpicks to hold them in place.

Pour brown sugar into a large plastic bag that seals. Toss in a few bacon-wrapped sausages and shake them around to coat evenly. Do this for all sausages, then arrange everything on the baking pan.

Lightly sprinkle the bacon sausages with freshly ground black pepper if you'd like.

Place your sausages in the heated oven and bake for around 30-35 minutes, until the bacon is browned. If you'd prefer extra crispy bacon, broil briefly at the end.

Move the sausages to a serving platter and enjoy them while hot.
