Asian Asparagus Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Produce

01 - 1 big garlic clove, chopped into tiny pieces
02 - A bundle of fresh asparagus (~450g)
03 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger

→ Pantry

04 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Garnish

06 - Optional: Toasted almonds for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse asparagus well and slice into 4-5cm sections.
02 - Warm up olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Toss in the chopped garlic and stir for a minute or two until you can smell it.
03 - Add the cut asparagus to the pan. Stir it constantly and cook for 3-5 minutes until it’s crisp but tender.
04 - Toss in the chopped ginger. Pour in soy sauce and heat until it just starts to bubble, then take it off the stove immediately.
05 - Move everything to a serving dish. If you'd like, sprinkle with toasted almonds on top. Serve it hot right away.

# Notes:

01 - To cook evenly, choose asparagus spears that are similar in thickness.
02 - Keep the asparagus a little crispy. Don’t leave it on the stove too long.
