Sweet and Savory Honey Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken

01 - Large chicken breasts - 2
02 - Cornstarch - 2½ tablespoons
03 - Olive oil or vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons plus more as needed

→ For the Sauce

04 - Honey - ¼ cup
05 - Chicken broth - ¼ cup
06 - Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
07 - Apple cider vinegar - ½ tablespoon
08 - Garlic powder - ¼ teaspoon

→ For Garnish

09 - Scallions, chopped (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cut chicken into bite-size pieces. Toss with cornstarch until coated.
02 - Whisk together honey, chicken broth, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic powder in a bowl.
03 - Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in batches until browned, 3-5 minutes per side. Transfer to plate.
04 - Remove pan from heat, add sauce and scrape up browned bits. Return chicken to pan.
05 - Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through. Garnish with scallions if desired.
