→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 medium flour tortillas (20 cm)
02 - 8 slices deli ham
03 - 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar jack cheese
04 - 1 tablespoon (15 g) unsalted butter, softened

# Instructions:

01 - Place tortillas on a microwave-safe plate, cover with a damp paper towel, and heat in the microwave for 20 seconds until pliable.
02 - Chop the ham slices into small bite-sized pieces for even distribution in the filling.
03 - Spoon approximately 60 grams of shredded cheese into the center of each tortilla, top with chopped ham, and finish with an extra sprinkle of cheese.
04 - Fold the edges of each tortilla inward, then fold the tortilla in half to completely enclose the filling and press edges to seal.
05 - Set air fryer to 193°C and preheat for 3 minutes while finishing assembly.
06 - Brush the tops of each pocket with softened butter, sprinkle additional cheese, and press gently to adhere.
07 - Arrange the pockets seam-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes, checking halfway for even browning.
08 - Let the pockets cool for 1-2 minutes before serving, as the filling will be hot.

# Notes:

01 - Warm tortillas before folding to prevent cracking.
02 - Press cheese topping gently into the butter to prevent it from moving in the air fryer.
03 - Prepared pockets can be made in advance and frozen for up to 3 months.
04 - Cooking times may vary based on your specific air fryer model.
05 - Alternatively, bake pockets at 200°C in a conventional oven for 12-15 minutes.
