This page explains cookies and similar storage on RecipeOwn Crochet. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies do
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. They can maintain a login, remember a preference, protect a service, or support advertising. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. A cookie may be set by this site or by a third-party service included on a page.
WordPress and essential functions
- Login and security: WordPress may use a temporary login test cookie, session cookies and authentication cookies. Login cookies normally last two days, or two weeks with “Remember Me”. Signing out removes login cookies.
- Preferences: WordPress screen settings may be stored for one year. An editor cookie that records the ID of an edited post normally expires after one day.
- Optional comment convenience: If you choose to save your details in the comment form, WordPress may remember your name, email and website for one year. You can leave this option unchecked.
Advertising cookies, if advertising is enabled
Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and identifiers to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repetition and detect fraud. Personalized advertising can use information about visits to this and other websites. Non-personalized advertising can still involve cookies or other processing for measurement and security.
Manage Google advertising preferences at Google My Ad Center. Read Google’s cookie information and Google’s partner-site data information. Some third-party advertising choices are available at AboutAds.
Embedded services
If you interact with content embedded from another provider, that provider may set its own cookies or receive device information. Check the provider’s privacy notice before using an embedded service. Cookies can differ by page, login status and the features enabled on the site.
Control your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login or other features from working. Where a consent message is displayed, use it to accept, reject or manage optional purposes and vendors, and return to its settings to change or withdraw your consent. Deleting browser storage can also reset a saved choice.
This page is information, not a consent tool. Before serving advertising that requires consent, appropriate consent controls must be configured. Google-certified consent management requirements apply to relevant advertising in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.
Questions and updates
Cookie use may change when website features or advertising services change. We will revise this page as needed. See our Contact page for the current contact route.
